Matcha Green Tea:
Green tea contains a large amount of antioxidants, most importantly EGCG (epigallocatechin-gallate) can have more active antioxidant activity than Vitamin C and E! Green tea protects against harmful UV and beautifies skin at the same time providing complete sun protection and pre-mature aging, in particular as a result of UV damage. For skin burns, this can also be used topically by steaping several tea bags, letting it cool down completely (ice helps!), soaking a towel in the tea, then apple towel directly to burn.
Sunfower Seeds:
What a better seed than to protect your skin from the sun than sunflower seeds! These seeds are rich in vitamin E, which helps keep moisture in the skin and protects the oils in the skin’s moisture barrier from free-radical damage. It soothes dry skin and also reduces the effects of sun exposure on the skin and can help prevent skin cancer. Sunflower seeds are also a rich source of selenium, a mineral required to make glutathione peroxidase, our body’s most powerful antioxidant, which fights free radical damage as a result of sun exposure.
Watermelon:

After a day in the sun, nothing can be more refreshing than a juicy watermelon. And good thing, it’s great for healing and preveting sun damage. Watermelon is rich in Lycopene, the bright red carotenoid, that acts as a natural sunscreen, protecting the skin from UV damage, which causes free radicals and results in wrinkles, dry skin and sun spots. Lycopene also helps build our skin-firming collagen. It also contains beta carotene, further protecting against oxidative stress and free-radical damage.
Vega One
Vega one is an all in one, plant-based, nutritional shake that can help prevent and treat sun damage. Vega one is chock full of vitamins, minerals, proteins, greens, fiber and various superfoods, but what makes it a powerful sun damage healer is it’s super high antioxidant, omega 3 and chlorophyll content. Not only does it contain power vitamins A, C and E antioxidants, but also incorporate superfruits, such as macqui, gogi and pomegranate which fight oxidative stress and skin damage as a result of sun exposure. Plus the Omega 3 fatty acids help to reduce inflammation caused by sun damage.
Apple Cider Vinegar

If you’ve got a sun burn, Apple cider vinegar can help. It helps to pull heat away from the skin and helps to eliminate some of the pain and discomfort.
